Lost Again
"Gimme your foot on a pedal boat those huge lizards on the shore soaking up the sun may be hungry but don’t be afraid I’ll be with you
Gimme a see-saw in a park downtown and two pandas on a red heart beating for you
If you give me long-tailed boats again on the river
And drink a young coconut juice in a bar again then I will defeat them
Gimme a boarding in the sunrise across the ocean see what we aimed to afar
I want to be lost with you again
Lost on our island we found on our way
and love you like I do but far away
in the shelter we found in a palm-tree forest
Gimme the waves breaking on the shore as we awake in the morning light
Give us our sunstrokes on the back mocking birds laughing at you and me suffering like war casualties
If you give me your smile in the sun again and take a cold shower with me in the morning again then I will beat them
Gimme your dog playing in the sand mosquitos at the sunset in the jungle scratching arms and legs covered with bites
Gimme rain for a day, and storm and thunder if you want it
I won’t really bother cause all I want is you and me lost again
Lost on our island we found on our way
and love you like I do but far away
in the shelter we found in a palm-tree forest"

Rough intrusive moving in
"I was used to work on my own writing songs home alone
Never been looking for some fellowship in my silent house
Dust mites settling for a while on my spanish ham well i might never have some again
I was used to drink on my own recording songs all day long
Used to sing along for nobody but the clapping sound of my plant trees
Green flies wrecking my favorite beloved tree that i might not have to feed anymore
Rough intrusive moving in means time to pack my bags and move away
I was used to be alone"

Leaving The Captain

Leaving the captain
"Spring is here again and you're leaving the captain behind
say goodbye to the children we've been hanging out with by a warm summer night
i'm sorry that i threatened them with a sharp knife cooking in your kitchen
i would never thought you had to leave him and all the people around
leaving all the wreckages for a new ship and sail away across the ocean of life
early birds back from over the seas are nest building in the woodlands we're leaving
buds springing over again and you're leaving the captain behind
the ship the built and made with our own two hands gathering branches, timbers and planks
and we're boarding again to sail forward on a six octaves small piano"

47 Willows

|

47 willows
there’s a house of 47 willows leaning over a green fresh running river
stopping for no one except for water lilies standing still like stagnant maybes
if you look through the window you could see building roofs behind houseplants weeping for a richer land
and right before the sun sets down leaves are turning red in an incandescent light
and i’m yearning for more trees that i can afford
like the 47 willows leaning over
i’m standing by the windows looking over
the blue sky turning into a gray one till the next seasons
the rain falling and making my young green oak grow
like the 47 willows leaning over
i’m standing by the windows looking over
like the 47 willows

Coconut in Albert’s house
no left captain nor any willows
just a spoiled coconut in alberts house
on your way back home again then you will know
how good it is to own this coconut in alberts house
i can hear april in paris and plane trees blooming again
the sun of may gently petting the coconut in alberts house
its been a long cold exhausting winter
moving in and out from there to here
and chris cool is so far away now
hunting for the black tailed deer
he can get coconuts in plenty up in his tree house
but any looking like the coconut in alberts house
june, july deep in the soil a young tree had growing fast
we oughta protect it from the coconut in alberts house

Wide Open Spaces

Wide open spaces
someday we'll be away we'll celebrate and say hooray oh yeah hooray for holidays
somewhere we'll be together, together in a desert is better than everlasting winters forever
we could harvest what we would grow you could simmer what had been harvested
we could relish your delightful dishes but i don't want this right here away from the country
and i wish it could be now and away from town
and i wish it could be now in wide open spaces
you gotta run to the country with me hiding from suburban trains continued unceasing rains
we gotta run into the great wide open nature where animals know how to live far from night clubs and bars

Let It Go

Let it go
Would need a fresh new start to get the feeling of running the show again
In spite of the fact i broke up my band few years ago i still don’t want to consider it over
I know i oughta make it on my own and go solo instead of keeping pretending that i am still running the show but i know i just cannot let it go
I know i should act like a superstar and every time i get on stage break my guitar to make mom and dad proud and the young girls cry or take of my shirt show off my body but i swear my stomach is not really worth it at all
I know i oughta make it on my own and go solo instead of keeping pretending that i am still running the show but i know i just cannot let it go

We Never Met Chris Cool
04:32
|
|||
We never met Chris Cool
we met that girl from Germany who spoke English much more better than me
a Chinese girl from Taiwan and another from New York City
on a night bus on our way back from the northern mountains
got robbed in our sleep with more fear than pain
with two girls from Israel and another from Austria
we finally realized we were just like everybody
following the same tracks taking the same path walking in the same ways too
back on the island we started over new and met that jaunty girl who offered drinks and food
played a French game with Jed and T-Rex from the Munchy bar
we climbed up a mountain perfectly still with that kind of Paul's fool on the hill
he was growing orchids flowers all around the diamond caves
we finally realized we were just like everybody
following the same tracks taking the same path flocking in the same lanes too
but we've never met Chris Cool yet
he was hiking in the northern forest
we were heading south across the sea on a ferry just like everybody but not him

Homecoming

Homecoming
Here’s a letter to let you know we’re heading home to get back all the things you stole us
We’re taking everything back and settle down again nobody will even suffer everything will be just fine
The greenery and the stones in the backyard we’re taking all we owned
the fig tree and the dogs in the front yard and the tractor too
the mountains surrounding the lake and the landscape stripped by all the rivers
hello again here’s another one to remind you we’re on our way we’re coming right now
we were so fed up with living in the city that we’re hovering over the country
just keep in mind that you’ll have to leave all your things behind
the small house in the meadows and the blue sky above the countryside
the green forest all around you and the black oaks in the fall sun too
homecoming small wee, tiny, little substitute of California
this is our latest letter of reminder please don’t forget the housework and the bunch of keys on the portal door
greeneries and rocks in the backyard we’re taking all we owned
like summer’s heat and spring birds on the branches of the hill top trees
every field surrounding the farm in the valley with every cows and sheep and the horses
settle down again with a spoiled cat a pink deer and a panda bear

Indigo

Indigo
While the duke is blowing and indigo tune in the stereo
I watch you gently petting your coconut tree and your tears are falling
I could have stayed all night long watching you shining in the glow
To the sound of a sad song a tear from you is worth millions of them
While the duke was blowing and indigo tune in the air
I’ve watched you gently petting your coconut tree and your tears were falling
So please let us carry on cause sadness makes oh so beautiful
And god knows how much I love when you’re downhearted when your feeling blue

Indian Summer
06:00
|
|||
Indian summer
Paris’ pavement covered with summer’s debris and fallen leaves
You’ll be away for a while but naked plane trees won’t die
Indian summer and the fall would be nicer
You’ll forget all your troubles in the sun
So please swim for me up the Salinas river like a water snake twisting its periscope head
Cause god knows how much i wish i could be there too and lie
Sleeping among the sycamores under yellow willows along the shore
The long valley is still greener than gray building and cold showers falling
So please glide smoothly up the Salinas river like a water snake twisting its periscope head
Don’t get lost on the road i know you might need to find your way home
Watch out for the mountain lions or capture one of them in your Monterey sardine’s fishnet
And don’t miss to say hello to our friends in San Francisco

Fairguson France
My name is Thomas. I've been in a band called Fairguson since 2005. We picked that name after the famous american tractor brand and also my own true love that used to call herself "Fair". After six years and two records the band dismissed. But...
